Mane Six

The Mane Six.

The Mane Six, formally known as the Guardians of Friendship, were the main prophets that saved the lands of Equestria in a number of notable events that occurred during the Third Civilization Era (also known as the Proto-Gnome Era) when Ponies reigned on Earth 600 billion years ago.

The group is comprised of Twilight Sparkle (the leader), Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. Besides the Mane Six, Spike is also their good friend, being Twilight's assistant and one of her closest childhood friends. Starlight Glimmer, who used to be one of their worst enemies until Twilight changed her and became one of their closest friends, was accepted by the group although she is not an official member of the Mane Six.
