Community Ban

Behold, the rarest ban, the permanent ban in all its glory. Not many have actually seen what one of these looks like. It's a luxury that you're seeing this right now.

Community Ban is a punishment issued to a Steam City citizen who violates the Steam Community Terms Of Service contractual agreement. The Steam Moderation Team are known to issue this out to people who generally don't agree with the current socially acceptable thing (i.e. being unvaccinated, not supporting ukraine, not supporting LGBT, not being a woke retard, etc.) The jannies have the ability to shut off their brain entirely for however long they like, all because you weren't being an obedient little goy. During the Golden Criminal Period, some criminals used the amount of bans they've received to brag to other criminals about how naughty they've been.

Ban durations

When you get banned for a certain period of time, (the first time is usually either a day, a week or 2 weeks depending on the severity) the time obviously gets extended with each ban (this is only if you're getting banned for the same thing. For example: if you're banned 4 weeks for harassment and your next ban is for spam despite never being banned for spam before, you will only receive a 1 day or 1 week ban for spam.) As to helping you be more cautious of fucking up (because it's really fucking easy to get your VALUABLE account perma banned if you're retarded) this is the duration of the bans in order:

• 1 day
• 1 (or 2) week(s)
• 4 weeks
• 13 weeks
• 52 weeks (a year)
• Permanent (or 16 years if that's actually legitimate)
