Steam City Sewers

The Steam City Sewers are an underground conduit consisting of Steam City's sewage network. Not much of note goes on within the sewers other than the fact that Sewer Goblins and Foids are known to reside down there, though the two races tend to avoid each other. Sewer Rats are also known to live down there, the sewers are generally regarded as their holy land for worshipping Badratism. The sewers are often used, by criminals, as a means of transporting to other districts and adjacent Internet Cities due to restricted measures and laws that prevent common citizens from travelling to other areas. The sewers aren't owned by any of the municipal governments of Steam City, although it is maintained by the Gassercorp.

It's known that a large portion of the sewers are entirely consumed by Fatbergs (a rock-like mass made up of waste matter.) Some of the fatbergs are known to be sentient (Sentient Fatbergs) and are known to be venerated by the Sewer Goblins, they are also known to communicate with each other. Sewer Goblins nor Sentient Fatbergs are harmful, many that traverse the sewers are merely asked to solve riddles given by the goblins. Some say Irish "people" live there too, sometimes hearing the song "Danny Doyle - Me Old Howth Gun" in the distance of the sewer tunnels but that's a conspiracy theory.

History

Gnome Era

After Gnomistan occupation of the Steam City Land Area, the Second Gnomistan Nuclear Holocaust resulted in many Dwarfs to hide in the sewers only to be slowly consumed by the fatbergs. Some of the Dwarfs decided to have sex with the sentient fatbergs while singing I AM A DWARF AND I'M DIGGING A HOLE (extremely important to note) which birthed the race of sewer goblins. The sewer goblins then built their society known as Goblintopia which was just one small city built from dead fatbergs.

Modern Steam City Era

Gus Live 2022

Gus Live 2022 was known to have taken place within the Steam City Sewers, from March 3rd - 29th, 2022. Half of the sewers were destroyed as a result, although they were rebuilt in 6 days.

Gustavolands Civil War

During the Gustavolands Civil War, Greasy Gus and Brick were known to have ruthlessly murdered the homeless dwellers of the sewers for eating the fatbergs. This was solely done with religious intent.

Independent Black Women Era

Fatberg Growth Event

In 2050, the Fatbergs of the Steam City Sewers were directly linked to the end of all human civilization as the Fatbergs emerged from the depths of the sewers, declaring war on Independent Black Women (see:Fatberg-Independent Black Women War), winning the war against them after driving their entire race into extinction.
