2024 Steam City Election

The 2024 Steam City Election was an election held on January 1st, 2024 for the mayoral seat of Steam City's political office. It is notorious for how it was rigged by the SCGN, causing complete nuclear annihilation after Toxic Coffee won, beating multiple candidates such as: Gaben Newell, Nelson Hernandez, Robert Ford and Gastrisha.

History

Background

During the Great Purge Of Steam City in 2022, Maurice The Orangutan said "mane fuck dis shit nigga" as a result of the ongoing wars, and his mayoral term was limited to 2 more years, subsequently resulting in the opening of mayoral candidates to become the next mayor of Steam City.

Nominations

The first to qualify was Gaben Newell, as he was initially going to rig the election so he could reign up until the heat death of the city. Then came Nelson Hernandez, the defacto president of Argentina. Robert Ford was also nominated as he wished to gain more influence with his powerful monopoly in the city, and notably an independent black woman named Gastrisha had also been nominated. There were others such as Francis Friday (Physical Form) although that's a conspiracy and Tom Pearl, and METH TRUCKER although he mysteriously died around the time he was nominated. Toxic Coffee then nominated himself in November of 2022 for literally no reason, with the influence of Toxic Coffee Corporations and made a promise to make everything worse for everyone.

2022 Riots

After nominations, citizens realized every single candidate was going to make their lives worse. The riots were pursued with the goal of keeping Maurice in office and many began to attack the Steam Moderation Team jannies on the streets after many were being brutalized and community banned for speaking against the VALVE corp, this was also attributed to the Great Purge Of Steam City's influence with Gaby and xer ban wave rampage that impacted basically every citizen. The citizens revolted against the VALVE corp, allowing rival corps such as The 1% Corporation, the various CCP corps and Toxic Coffee Corporations to get a chance at taking the mayoral throne.

Election Day (Jan 1st, 2024)

Election Day, January 1st, 2024.

Election day then came along and the nuclear bomb had been detonated on the city, and Toxic Coffee had won upon rigging the election. Riots had ensued and the Rabid Pitbull With Aids had been unleashed, although the Hound Punishment Response Unit (formerly known as The 58%) killed the fucking dawg. This was done on purpose as a ritual to mark the new dawn upon Steam City, its permanent destruction. The SCGN's goal with the city was simply to fucking destroy it, as a fucked up place like Steam City should not exist in this evil world we live in.
